The exhibition we created questions and contextually repositions a variety of methods used in the working processes of designers, all gathered under the broad term “toolbox for a revolution”.
The playful architecture of the exhibition, constructed entirely from reused cardboard and printed with a handjet printer, invites visitors to explore, interact, and immerse themselves in the designer’s toolbox. Our temporary artists’ collective, which originated at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, offers a new definition of design. With refreshing honesty, the exhibition presents itself not only as a mock-up but also challenges the traditional, solution-oriented academic view of design.
